The 2nd POLO+10 Patrons’ Cup Ibiza, taking place from 24-25 September 2016 at Ibiza Polo Club on the sunny Balearic island, boasts four teams with players from 10 different nations! The participants come from Great Britain, Luxembourg, Argentina, the USA, Ecuador, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, Germany and even Mongolia.
The tournament is organised by POLO+10 and the Ibiza Polo Club and is part of the POLO+10 World Tour, which takes its participants to the most beautiful and exotic polo destinations of the world. The Ibiza Polo Club is known for its fantastic atmosphere, its cheerful spirits and its well-organised tournaments. The participants awaits action-packed chukkas, exciting matches and a unique combination of polo tournament, party atmosphere and holiday feeling.
Start of play will be on Saturday, 24 September at 5.00 pm. Subsequent to the two matches all players are welcome to join the Cocktail Party to discuss the chukkas of the day and to get to know each other. On Sunday, at 5.00 pm the match for the Ibiza Polo Cup will be held. The final for the POLO+10 Patrons’ Cup will take place at 6.00 pm, followed by the award ceremony and a social evening at Ibiza Polo Club, including a fashion show and of course an asado (Argentinian barbeque). Entrance is free on both match days.
