More than 2000 people were present to watch the 2015 Beijing International Polo Open Tournament and China-Argentina Horse Fair Final at the Beijing Sunny Times Polo Club, which is located in Yanqing. Special programs for participation, experiencing and interaction like a ponies demonstration, photographing and balance wheel riding were also conducted. Furthermore, the fantastic symphony music, the 2022 Melody of Snow and 2015 Beijing International Polo Open Tournament Music Festival, was played by an orchestra. Beautiful music of the homelands of the players was performed.
This year’s event had teams from Argentina, New Zealand, Singapore and China competing for the Championship. Finally China beat Argentina by 6-1 in the final competition and took the Championship Cup of the 2015 Beijing International Polo Open Tournament and China-Argentina Horse Fair home. Argentina was placed second, followed by New Zealand and Singapore on the third and fourth place. Marciao Socas was awarded the Best Player with his highly skilled horse control and stick swing. The Best Pony Horse Award was given to “Danfeng Chaoyang”.
