From 15th – 17th August, the 5th edition of the Ibiza Polo Beach Cup was celebrated at the Ibiza Polo Club, which provided a sand arena for the tournament to be played on, in which four female and four male teams competed.
The Hotel Me Polo team won the Ibiza Polo Beach Cup after their victory against team School Media. It was a very intense and closely contested final, which saw Hotel Me Polo Team, captained by Gofreddo Cutinelli, win with a score of 6-5 in the very last minute of the match.
The Women’s Polo Air Europa Cup was won by Team Air Europa, which included some of the best international female polo players, such as Marianela Castagnola, from Argentina and Stefanie Annunzaitta, from Italy, after they beat team Love Polo with a final score of 4-2.
Teams also played for the Men’s polo Hotel Me Cup, with team PoloMode securing the win, as well as the Hierbas de Ibiza Perfumes Cup, which was won by the Hierbas de Ibiza Polo Team.
