Yesterday the draw of the Tortugas Open took place at the offices of the Asociación Argentina de Polo (AAP). League A consists of Ellerstina, Alegria and La Aguada, League B features La Dolfina, La Natividad and La Aguada Las Monjitas. In the opening match on Thursday, September 24 at 4 pm Alegria encounters La Aguada.
The Tortugas Open are the first competition of the Argentine Triple Crown. The Triple Crown consists of the three Opens Tortugas Open, Hurlingham Open and Argentine Open and is a series of the most important tournaments worldwide. The tournaments of the Argentine Triple Crown begin September 24th with the Tortugas Open. The finals of the 120th Argentine Open will be held on December 7th at the Catedral del Polo in Palermo/Buenos Aires.
