For 14 years, the private bank Berenberg is firmly established in the sport of polo and in this time presented numerous tournaments at home and abroad. “We are very happy to have won Berenberg as title sponsor for our tournament. It shows once again that our tournament, taking place in the summer on Sylt, is a top-class event in the sport of polo,” says event manager Stephanie Schneider.

Quickness, team play as well as responsible and anticipatory acting are of great importance, both for the sport of polo and in the banking business. As early as 1998, the enthusiastic polo player Jürgen “Jo” Schneider organized the German Polo Masters for the first time in Keitum on Sylt. Since 2005, the popular tournament is organized by his daughter Stephanie Schneider.
“The founding of the German Polo Masters was a matter of the heart to me, because it was very important to me to give this fantastic sport an appropriate stage. All the more I am very happy about the commitment of Berenberg. We know this impressive private bank and those responsible for many years as a dedicated and continuous promoter of the sport of polo,” says Jo Schneider, polo player, founder and initiator of the German Polo Masters.
The Berenberg German Polo Masters Sylt will take place from 24th July to 2nd August, 2015 in Keitum/Sylt.
