After two exciting tournament days, team Costa Careyes won against Tucane Porsche by 11-8 the Copa de Oro at the prestigious Costa Careyes Polo Club. The 18-goal tournament was the concluding highlight of the two-week Costa Careyes Polo Festival (April 12th to 27th, 2014), which als included the high goal tournament La Copa Agua Alta (POLO+10 reported).
This year the best polo players from Mexico, Peru and Argentina took part at the Copa de Oro, which is one of the most important Mexican tournaments. In addition to the legendary Mexican polo player Guillermo “Memo” Gracida also the Mexican Valerio Aguilar, the Argentine Andrea Vianini and Guillermo Li from Peru showed off their skills and thus ensured a tournament at the highest level that, for the first time as a 18-goal tournament, took place at the Costa Careyes Polo Club.
The Costa Careyes Polo Club is part of the resort Costa Careyes. The club is located at the seaside of Costalegre in the state Jalisco in Mexico and offers as a venue excellent conditions for exclusive polo tournaments.
