Nach dem Tod von James W. Ashton hatte der US-Amerikaner Tom Biddle kurzzeitig die Leitung der Federation of International Polo (FIP) übernommen, bis am 9. März 2010 Eduardo J. Huergo zum neuen Interim Präsident ernannt wurde (Polo+10 berichtete). Auch der Argentinier hat das Amt nur auf begrenzte Zeit inne: Der neue Präsident wird am 19. April 2010 auf der Generalhauptversammlung der FIP gewählt. Huergo werden gute Chancen eingeräumt, im Amt bestätigt zu werden.

After the death of James W. Ashton, the American, Tom Biddle, temporarily took over as head of the Federation of International Polo (FIP) until Eduardo J.
