2010 wird der Polo Gold Cup Gstaad zum 15. Mal ausgetragen, zum dritten Mal in Hauptpartnerschaft mit Hublot (www.hublot.com). Der Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad findet vom 19. bis 22. August auf dem Flughafenareal von Saanen/Gstaad statt. Die vier Teams freuen sich bereits darauf, erneut den Berner Oberländer Boden – unumgängliche Etappe der hochkarätigsten internationalen Poloturniere – auf ihren prächtigen Ponies zu bereiten. Der Hublot Polo Gold Cup gehört zur World Polo Tour (WPT www.worldpolotour.com), der weltweit wichtigsten Polo Turnierserie, die für das jährliche internationale Ranking der Polospieler zählt.
Auch dieses Jahr spielen die vier Teams im Bereich High-Goal mit einem Gesamthandicap von 16 bis 18. Geführt werden sie von Gualtiero Giori (I), Philipp Maeder (CH), Stefano Marsaglia (I) und Fabien Pictet (CH), alle vier leidenschaftliche Polospieler mit einer langjährigen Erfahrung des Gstaader Polofelds.
Während der drei Spieltage wird jeder Spieler versuchen, so viele Goals wie möglich zu markieren, um sein internationales Ranking auf der World Polo Tour-Liste zu verbessern. Jedes Team wird alles daran setzen, den Hublot Gold Cup Gstaad 2010 zu erringen, denn die Herausforderung, den Titelsieger der Turniere 2008 und 2009 – das Team von Fabien Pictet (Bild oben) – zu schlagen, sorgt bereits jetzt für Wetten und Spannung.

2010 Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad
In the 15th edition of the Hublot Polo Gold Cup, four teams will come up against each other on the Saanen airport grounds. Will Team Fabien Pictet, winner of the two precedent Gstaad tournaments, manage another win?
The 15th edition of the Polo Gold Cup Gstaad will be held in 2010. For the third time, the tournament will be organised in partnership with Hublot. The Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad will take place from 19 – 22 August on the grounds of the Saanen/Gstaad airfield. The four participating teams are looking forward to another opportunity to play on the Berner Oberland grounds, which are an absolute must in the series of the most prestigious international polo tournaments. The Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad is part of the World Polo Tour (WPT), the listing featuring the world’s top polo tournaments which, in turn establish the international ranking of polo players.
This year again, the four participating high goal teams will play with a handicap of 16 to 18. They will be captained by Gualtiero Giori (I), Philipp Maeder (CH), Stefano Marsaglia (I) and Fabien Pictet (CH), four passionate polo players with a many years’ experience playing the Gstaad polo ground.
During the three days of the competition, each player will try to score as many goals as possible with the aim of improving his individual position on the World Polo Tour ranking list. Each team will do its very best to win the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad 2010, this year’s major challenge being to defeat Fabien Pictet’s team, the winner of the two precedent Gstaad tournaments.
