Gelegen auf der sonningen Mittelmeerinsel Malta bietet Island Polo Club ein einzigartiges Poloerlebnis, das sich zu entdecken lohnt. Mit dem Ziel, Polo f\u00fcr jedermann zug\u00e4nglich zu machen, ist der Island Polo Club der perfekte Ort, um diesen aufregenden Sport in einer entspannten und freundlichen Atmosph\u00e4re zu erleben. Der Club befindet sich auf dem Montekristo Estate, einem malerischen Anwesen, das traditionelle maltesische Architektur mit beeindruckenden Landschaftsblicken im s\u00fcdlichen Teil der Insel verbindet. Gr\u00fcnder Steve Vassallo bringt fast 40 Jahre Polo-Erfahrung mit sich und hat Malta in Turnieren in Gro\u00dfbritannien, Frankreich, Italien und Argentinien vertreten. Seine Hingabe zum Sport und seine Leidenschaft f\u00fcr das Training machen Island Polo Club zu einem einladenden Treffpunkt f\u00fcr Pferdeliebhaber, erfahrene Spieler und Neueinsteiger. Der Club veranstaltet viermal pro Woche Chukkas und bietet einen abwechslungsreichen Spielplan f\u00fcr Jedermann. \u201eInstructional Chukkas\u201c sind ideal f\u00fcr alle, die das Spiel erlernen oder ihre Technik in einem unterst\u00fctzenden Umfeld verbessern m\u00f6chten. F\u00fcr ein ma\u00dfgeschneidertes Training k\u00f6nnen Einzelstunden und spezielle Trainingstage gebucht werden, um das individuelle Niveau gezielt zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/span><\/p>

Die Clubanlage umfasst zwei Arenen: eine gro\u00dfe Outdoor-Arena f\u00fcr Chukkas und Turniere sowie eine kleinere, \u00fcberdachte Arena, die sich perfekt f\u00fcr Unterricht und Trainingseinheiten eignet. Dank \u00fcber 300 Sonnentagen im Jahr kann fast t\u00e4glich gespielt werden. Die gro\u00dfe Arena ist zudem mit Flutlicht ausgestattet, sodass auch in den Abendstunden einzigartige Chukkas unter dem Sternenhimmel stattfinden k\u00f6nnen. Die rund 40-50 aktiven Mitglieder eint eine gemeinsame Leidenschaft f\u00fcr Polo und Pferde, die \u00fcber Kulturen und Generationen hinweg verbindet. Der Fokus des Clubs liegt auf einem \u201eRent-to-Play\u201c-Modell, das es Spielern erm\u00f6glicht, ohne eigenes Pferd regelm\u00e4\u00dfig am Spielbetrieb teilzunehmen. Der Club stellt gut ausgebildete Polo-Ponys f\u00fcr jedes Erfahrungslevel zur Verf\u00fcgung \u2013 sei es f\u00fcr Reiter mit Erfahrung oder absolute Anf\u00e4nger. Die Saison erstreckt sich von September bis Ende Juni, w\u00e4hrend der Sommermonate gibt es regelm\u00e4\u00dfige \u00dcbungseinheiten. Malta ist ein einzigartiges Reiseziel, das Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr an mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewinnt. Mit seinem angenehmen Wetter das ganze Jahr \u00fcber ist Malta ein Paradies f\u00fcr Outdoor-Sportler. Wundersch\u00f6ne Str\u00e4nde, kristallklares Wasser und erstklassige Tauchspots machen die Insel zu einem Traumziel f\u00fcr Wassersportliebhaber, w\u00e4hrend Segelfreunde die K\u00fcste vom Meer aus erkunden k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p>
