Ein franz\u00f6sischer Sieg war im Ladies Polo Nations Cup bereits sicher \u2013 im Finale standen sich die Regionen Normandie und Hauts-de-France gegen\u00fcber. Doch der Triumph von Occitanie-Frankreich im Hauptturnier war das Ergebnis eines der packendsten Spiele der Saison \u2013 gegen niemand Geringeren als Argentinien. Ein hart erk\u00e4mpfter Sieg, erneut erst in der Verl\u00e4ngerung errungen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Es war ein spektakul\u00e4rer Sportnachmittag f\u00fcr die Zuschauer im Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly am Sonntag. Die Hauptfelder, von einer frischen Brise durchzogen, boten ideale Bedingungen f\u00fcr eine Spitzenleistung der Pferde. Das Publikum war begeistert vom schnellen, offenen Spiel \u2013 wenige Fouls, hohes Tempo, genau wie wir es lieben. Und dazu ein dramatisches Ende: W\u00e4hrend Occitanie-Frankreich bis zum zweiten Chukker scheinbar sicher f\u00fchrte (5:2), k\u00e4mpfte sich Argentinien unter der Regie von Matias Torres Zavaleta zur\u00fcck. Mit kraftvollen Angriffen durchbrach er die starke Verteidigung der Br\u00fcder Ramiro und Simon Zavaleta. Torres Zavaleta erzielte 7 der 8 Tore seiner Mannschaft \u2013 darunter den Ausgleichstreffer in der allerletzten Sekunde der regul\u00e4ren Spielzeit nach einem Sololauf aus dem Mittelfeld.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Ramiro Zavaleta: Golden-Goal-Spezialist<\/strong><\/p>

Wie schon zuvor wurde das Spiel durch ein Golden Goal entschieden \u2013 und wieder war es Ramiro Zavaleta, der mit einem brillanten \u201enearside shot\u201c unter dem Hals seines Pferdes den Siegtreffer erzielte. Am Spielfeldrand: sein Vater Diego, eine feste Gr\u00f6\u00dfe im Chantilly-Polo, der vor R\u00fchrung beinahe ohnm\u00e4chtig wurde. Das Resultat: Das Team von Isabelle Larenaudie verteidigte erfolgreich seinen Titel. F\u00fcr Elouan Badarello, den jungen Neuzugang des Teams, war es der erste gro\u00dfe Titel auf 12-Goal-Niveau:<\/p>

\u201eJa, mein erster gro\u00dfer Sieg \u2013 mit einem unglaublichen Team, dank Isabelle und den Zavaleta-Br\u00fcdern. Es war eine verr\u00fcckte Erfahrung. Das Match war richtig hart. Wir sind stark gestartet, aber Mati Torres ist unglaublich \u2013 drei Angriffe, drei Tore, und das Spiel ist wieder offen. Doch wir sind ruhig geblieben, haben nicht die Nerven verloren und unser System durchgezogen, wie seit Turnierbeginn.\u201c<\/p>

Elouan spielte vor allem defensiv, meist gegen Tomas Oviedo, musste sich aber auch immer wieder Matias Torres Zavaleta stellen:<\/p>

\u201eEs ist sehr schwer, ihn zu verteidigen. Man braucht mehr als einen Spieler \u2013 allein macht er dir das Leben zur H\u00f6lle. Aber gegen so jemanden zu spielen, ist fantastisch, und es ist ein riesiges Privileg, so einen Star in Chantilly zu sehen. Auch die Damen boten ein herausragendes Spiel, wahrscheinlich eines der besten Damenspiele, das je in Chantilly stattgefunden hat. Die Normandie, angef\u00fchrt von Argentiniens Milagros Sanchez, dominierte das Spiel fr\u00fch mit langen Vorlagen nach vorn und f\u00fchrte zur Halbzeit mit 3:1\u00bd. Doch dann wendete sich das Blatt: Hauts-de-France drehte das Spiel \u2013 mit einer starken Offensive von Pupi Sirvent und Ana\u00efs Rezkallah, unterst\u00fctzt von der soliden Ambre Ploix:<\/p>

\u201eIch hatte ein sehr anspruchsvolles und schwieriges Turnier erwartet \u2013 und genau das war es\u201c, sagte Ambre. \u201eDie Teams waren sehr ausgeglichen. Wir waren schon \u00fcbergl\u00fccklich, es ins Finale geschafft zu haben \u2026 aber wir haben die erste H\u00e4lfte quasi verschlafen. Erst im dritten Chukker kamen wir richtig ins Spiel und konnten das Match drehen. Ana\u00efs (Rezkallah, MVP der Amateurinnen) hat \u00fcberragend gespielt. Aber eigentlich haben alle M\u00e4dels ein super Spiel gemacht \u2013 ich bin einfach gl\u00fccklich, dabei gewesen zu sein.\u201c<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Diese beiden franz\u00f6sischen Siege \u2013 im Damen- wie im Hauptturnier \u2013 waren ein glanzvoller Abschluss der dritten Ausgabe des Polo Nations Cup. M\u00f6glich wurde dies durch das Engagement des gesamten Teams des Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, unter der Leitung von Philippe Perrier und Clubpr\u00e4sident Arnaud de Ch\u00eanevarin.<\/p>

Doch die Saison ist noch lange nicht vorbei: Bereits n\u00e4chste Woche (27. Juni) steht ein Testspiel Frankreich\u2013Brasilien auf WM-Niveau an. Und vom 4. bis 21. September folgt mit der 24. Ausgabe der Open de France Barnes das absolute Saisonhighlight \u2013 mit 16 Teams, darunter Weltklassespieler und Champions, die bereits im legend\u00e4ren Argentine Open angetreten sind.<\/p>
