August gestartet.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oft werden Reitveranstaltungen wegen schlechten Wetters abgesagt, aber ob Regen, Hagel oder Sonnenschein &#8211; in der Arena ist es immer in Ordnung&#8221;, sagte Eigent\u00fcmerin Inge Burke.&nbsp;Seit \u00fcber 25 Jahren besch\u00e4ftigt sich Inge mit Polo und freut sich darauf, die Surf Coast, die Geelong-Region und die gesamte Umgebung f\u00fcr einen Sport zu pr\u00e4sentieren, den sie so leidenschaftlich liebt. Die brandneue Arena mit der ProRide-Oberfl\u00e4che ist 88 x 30 m gro\u00df und komplett geschlossen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jeder kann sieben Tage die Woche Unterricht nehmen. Wir k\u00f6nnen jedem Polo beibringen, auch wenn jemand noch nicht reiten kann. Wir spielen jeden Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Samstag und Sonntag &#8220;, sagte sie. RGRA ist auf Polo spezialisiert und folgt der viktorianischen Graspolosaison von November bis April und ihrer eigenen Arena-Saison, von April bis November, insgesamt also mit 52 Wochen Polo.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wir haben eine Auswahl an Pferden, die f\u00fcr Anf\u00e4nger und Fortgeschrittene geeignet sind.&#8221; Derzeit nehmen viele Sch\u00fcler der \u201eGeelong Grammar\u201c (Ganztagsschule in Corio) Unterricht und Inge hofft, ihre Klientel auf weitere Schulen und Universit\u00e4ten auszudehnen. &#8220;Polo ist das beste Spiel der Welt, Adrenalin, Teamarbeit, Wettbewerb und Strategie in einem. Alles oben auf dem sch\u00f6nsten Tier der Welt&#8221;, sagt sie. \u201eEs ist pure Begeisterung, nachdem du ein Spiel gespielt hast, bist du auf Hochtouren. Polo ist ein Denkspiel. Ein gro\u00dfer Polospieler hat einmal gesagt, es sei Schach zu Pferde.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Die Er\u00f6ffnung war ein gro\u00dfer Erfolg. &#8220;Es war ein grandioser Abend mit \u00fcber 200 G\u00e4sten, die Australiens erste Indoor-Polo-Arena gefeiert haben. Internationale Polospieler haben ein Match gespielt, au\u00dferdem gab es ein Promi-Polo-Chukker. Ein wahres Spektakel. Michelle Payne, der erste weibliche Lady-Jockey, der den Melbourne Cup gewann (ihr Leben wird verfilmt und &nbsp;kommt 2019: &#8220;Ride like a girl&#8221;) oder TV-Moderatorin Catriona Rowntree waren unter den G\u00e4sten. Beide waren sichtlich begeistert und wollen wiederkommen.<\/p>\n<p>Auch G\u00e4ste aus Europa sind sehr willkommen, sagt Inge.
