Mit dem traditionellen \u201eLast of the Season Cup\u201c hat der Rhein Polo Club D\u00fcsseldorf e.V. am vergangenen Wochenende bei herrlichem Sp\u00e4tsommerwetter seine Turniersaison beendet. Rund 2.400 Zuschauer feierten begeistert die acht Mannschaften, die drei Tage lang k\u00e4mpferische und faire Matches zeigten.<\/p>\n

Nach einer rauschenden Players Night in den Hallen der alten Kaffeefabrik \u201eBAZZAR\u201c  im Neusser Frachthafen, wurde der Black-tie am Finaltag wieder gegen Polo Whites und Boots getauscht. Angefeuert wurden die Spieler auch von viel Prominenz am Spielfeldrand, wie der Fernsehmoderatorin Frauke Ludowig und n-tv Nachrichtensprecherin Mara Bergmann. Sie dr\u00fcckten Team Chopard im Finale um den Gold Cup so fest die Daumen, dass das Team um Kutlay Yaprak (der den Titel schon zum 2. Mal verteidigen konnte), Theodor J.Tantzen, Lukas Sdrenka und Juan Correa in einem atemberaubend schnellen und unglaublich spannenden Spiel gegen Team Leue & Nill mit Patrick Maass, Thomas Grau, Cristobal Durrieu und Marco Rothermel den Sieg davontragen konnte.<\/p>\n

Die Vorst\u00e4nde des Rhein Polo Club D\u00fcsseldorf e.V, Theodor J. Tantzen und Philipp Gesell, die auch dieses Turnier wieder mit tatkr\u00e4ftiger Unterst\u00fctzung der Sponsoren initiiert haben, zogen nach der Siegerehrung Bilanz: \u201eNach zwei 4-Goal und einem 2-Goal Turnier in den letzten sechs Wochen, denen bereits drei Club-Turniere vorausgegangen waren, wird der Rhein Polo Club D\u00fcsseldorf e.V. auch 2019 wieder sportlich interessante Turniere anbieten und die Attraktivit\u00e4t und Kapazit\u00e4ten eines der mitgliedst\u00e4rksten deutschen Polo Clubs weiter ausbauen.\u201c<\/p>\n
