Zum Gedenken an ihren geliebten Patron Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, der bei einem Hubschrauberabsturz im Leicester City FC Stadion im Oktober 2018 ums Leben gekommen war, hat Team King Power den Zusatz VS vor seinen Namen gestellt. F\u00fcr VS King Power spielte Vichais Sohn \u2018Top\u2018 Srivaddhanaprabha an der Seite von Polito Pieres, Marcos di Paola und Juan Martin Zubia. Team Dubai startete mit dem 16-j\u00e4hrigen Camilo Castagnola, Teamcaptain Rashid Albwardy, Bartolom\u00e9 Castagnola und Ignacio du Plessis in der Verteidigung.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nachdem VS King Power im ersten Chukker zun\u00e4chst in F\u00fchrung gegangen war, konnten d<\/span>ie Br\u00fcder Camilo und Bartolom\u00e9 Castagnola im zweiten Durchgang gleich drei Tore erzielen. Mit nur einem Gegentreffer von Polito Pieres f\u00fcr VS King Power endete der Chukker mit einer 4-3 F\u00fchrung f\u00fcr Team Dubai. Ein schneller und harter dritter Chukker brachte VS King Power zun\u00e4chst den Ausgleich, aber Bartolom\u00e9 Castagnola <\/span>antwortete umgehend mit zwei Toren, so dass Dubai am Ende der ersten Halbzeit mit 6:4 vorne lag.<\/p>\n

Im vierten Chukker konnte VS King Power durch einige gelungene Aktionen zum Ausgleich von 6-6 anschlie\u00dfen. Ein weiteres fantastisches Tor von Top Srivaddhanaprabha sowie ein 30-Yard-Penalty, verwandelt von Polito Pieres, brachte VS King Power mit 8-6 in F\u00fchrung. Auch im f\u00fcnften Chukker blieb VS King Power dominant und baute seinen Vorsprung auf 10-7 aus. Doch im sechsten Spieldurchgang wendete sich das Blatt und Team Dubai zog nach vier erzielten Treffern mit 11-10 am Gegner vorbei. Diesen Vorsprung lie\u00dfen sich Rashid Albwardy und seine Mitspieler ab jetzt nicht mehr nehmen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mit 13-12 gewann Dubai schlie\u00dflich den King Power Gold Cup 2019. Jon Rudkin, Direktor des Football for Leicester City FC, \u00fcberreichte allen Spielern, den Schiedsrichtern und Kommentatoren individuelle Preise, bevor er den begehrten Gold Cup an Rashid Albwardy, Sohn des gro\u00dfen Polof\u00f6rderers Ali Albwardy, \u00fcbergab.<\/p>\n
