Am 1. November ist unser Freund Guillermo \u201eBilly\u201c Mart\u00edn Steta Mondrag\u00f3n im Alter von 56 Jahren gestorben.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Wir haben ihn beim Rovinj Polo Cup in Kroatien 2018 getroffen. Er war zu Tr\u00e4nen ger\u00fchrt als er \u00fcber seine kroatischen Wurzeln sprach und war stolz darauf, sein Spiel zum ersten Mal in Kroatien zu spielen. Immer freundlich, immer mit einem L\u00e4cheln im Gesicht und mit einem warmen H\u00e4ndedruck f\u00fcr alle in der gro\u00dfen Polofamilie. Als Pr\u00e4sident der Mexican Polo Association, der er acht Jahre lang war, und als leidenschaftlicher Spieler bereiste er die Welt f\u00fcr den Polosport. Als Mitglied des mexikanischen Poloteams spielte er in L\u00e4ndern wie Argentinien, Chile, Kolumbien, Venezuela, Indien, Spanien, Panama, Barbados, den Vereinigten Staaten, Kanada, England und Deutschland. Der in Mexico City geborene Billy begann als 12-j\u00e4hriger Junge im Jalapa Polo Club Polo zu spielen. Er war Botschafter der Federation of International Polo (FIP), Mitglied der Panamerikanischen Polo Confederation und aktives Mitglied der U.S. Polo Association (USPA). <\/span>Unser Herausgeber Thomas Wirth traf Billy zuletzt bei den Argentine Open im Dezember in Buenos Aires:<\/span><\/span><\/span> \u201eMit Guillermo \u201eBilly\u201c Mart\u00edn Steta Mondrag\u00f3n verliert der internationale Polosport eine gro\u00dfe Pers\u00f6nlichkeit, einen wichtigen Unterst\u00fctzer des mexikanischen Polos, erfolgreichen Sportler und einen lieben Freund.
