Am Donnerstag, den 19. August 2021, veranstaltete Sentebale den ISPS Handa Polo Cup im Aspen Valley Polo Club, Colorado, USA und sammelte fast 3,5 Millionen Dollar f\u00fcr die Kernaufgabe der Organisation: die Unterst\u00fctzung bed\u00fcrftiger Kinder, die von extremer Armut, Ungleichheit und der HIV\/AIDS-Epidemie im s\u00fcdlichen Afrika betroffen sind. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Unter der Leitung eines f\u00fchrenden Epidemiologen und in Abstimmung mit der \u00f6rtlichen Gesundheitsbeh\u00f6rde fand eine reduzierte Version des j\u00e4hrlichen Wohlt\u00e4tigkeitsspiels von Sentebale unter Corona Bedingungen statt, mit dem alleinigen Ziel, wichtige Mittel zur Unterst\u00fctzung der Arbeit von Sentebale zu sammeln.<\/span><\/p>\n

Der diesj\u00e4hrige Polo-Cup und die gro\u00dfz\u00fcgige Spende des Herzogs von Sussex erm\u00f6glichen es Sentebale, in vollem Umfang t\u00e4tig zu werden, so dass mehr Kinder und Jugendliche in Lesotho und Botswana die notwendige Unterst\u00fctzung und Betreuung erhalten und F\u00e4higkeiten erwerben k\u00f6nnen, um in Zukunft widerstandsf\u00e4higer und unabh\u00e4ngiger zu sein.<\/span><\/p>\n

Neben dem Sentebale-Botschafter und argentinischen Spitzenpolospieler Nacho Figueras geh\u00f6rte auch der Herzog von Sussex, der Mitbegr\u00fcnder der Organisation zum Sentebale-Team. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Das Sentebale-Team k\u00e4mpfte gegen das Royal Salute \/ U.S. Polo Assn. Team. Das Sentebale-Team erwies sich als unschlagbar und siegte mit 3:0. The Duke erzielte zwei Tore.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
