Es wird nicht die Rugby-Weltmeisterschaft sein – die f\u00e4ngt ja am 8. September an – aber es wird das gr\u00f6\u00dfte internationale franz\u00f6sische Poloturnier sein, das jemals in Frankreich gesehen wurde: der 23. Open de France wird vom 1. bis zum 17. September 18 Poloteams willkommen hei\u00dfen!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Und das ist noch nicht alles: Gemeinsam mit dem franz\u00f6sischen Poloverband wird der Club w\u00e4hrend dieser Zeit auch drei weitere Turniere anbieten: den Troph\u00e9e du Capitaine des Jeux (Niveau 0-4), den Troph\u00e9e Castel (6-8) und den Women\u2019s Open de France (Frauen-Handicap 12-16). Insgesamt werden rund 1.400 Pferde auf dem Gel\u00e4nde der Ferme d\u2018Apremont untergebracht sein. Um ihnen Platz zu bieten, wurden 840 abbaubare St\u00e4lle zu den bereits vorhandenen hinzugef\u00fcgt. Um sich um diese vierbeinigen Athleten zu k\u00fcmmern, werden etwa 250 Petiseros (oder Pfleger) zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen.<\/p>\n

Neben den 18 Open-Teams werden 32 weitere in den oben genannten zus\u00e4tzlichen Turnieren antreten, insgesamt 50 Teams oder etwa 200 Spieler (etwas weniger, da einige mehrere Turniere gleichzeitig spielen werden), die 15 Nationen vertreten: Argentinien, \u00d6sterreich, Belgien, England, Frankreich, Deutschland, Italien, Luxemburg, Polen, Portugal, Spanien, Schweden, Schweiz, USA!<\/p>\n

Zu den Teilnehmern geh\u00f6ren 14 der 40 besten Spieler der Welt, die sich f\u00fcr das argentinische Open qualifiziert haben, einschlie\u00dflich eines fr\u00fcheren Gewinners dieses \u201eWimbledon des Polos\u201c, Nico Pieres, und drei der vier besten Spielerinnen, darunter die Weltnummer 1 aus England, Nina Clarkin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ein legend\u00e4rer Name in Chantilly<\/strong><\/p>\n

Antonio Heguy wird dem Kasachischen Team beitreten. Dieser Name baskischen Ursprungs ist mehr als ber\u00fchmt in der Welt des Polos. Antonio ist nach seinem Urgro\u00dfvater benannt, der 1958 als erster der Heguy-Dynastie das legend\u00e4re argentinische Open gewann, zusammen mit seinem \u00e4ltesten Sohn, Horacio. Antonios Gro\u00dfvater, Alberto-Pedro, und sein Onkel, Horacio, dominierten das argentinische Open f\u00fcr \u00fcber 20 Jahre und verloren nur vier Mal zwischen 1959 und 1981.<\/p>\n

Nach einer kurzen Pause \u00fcbernahm die n\u00e4chste Generation 1989 die Z\u00fcgel mit Horacito, Gonzalo (der 2000 verstarb) und Marcos. Sie feierten ihren ersten Sieg in Palermo mit dem Team Indios Chapaleuf\u00fa I, bevor Bautista zu ihnen stie\u00df. Von 1991 bis 2004 w\u00fcrde diese Generation nur f\u00fcnf Mal verlieren, abwechselnd mit Cousins aus Indios Chapaleuf\u00fa II, deren St\u00fcrmer Pepe Heguy, Antonios Vater, neben Duardo und Ignacio war. Unglaubliche \u201eGenetik\u201c, denn von den etwa 50 10-Goaler-Spielern, die das argentinische Polo seit Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts hervorgebracht hat, tragen 9 den Namen Heguy! In den Jahren 1986, 1992, 1993 und 1995 hatte das Team Indios Chapaleuf\u00fa I ein Gesamthandicap von 40 Toren*, vier Br\u00fcder mit einem Handicap* von 10, ein einzigartiger Fakt in der Geschichte des Sports! Antonio Heguy, den wir in Chantilly sehen werden, ist erst 20 Jahre alt, er ist ein 5-Goaler, und vielleicht wird er eines Tages mit seinen Cousins Cruz Heguy und Rufino Bensadon (h7 ebenfalls in Chantilly anwesend) ein weiteres gro\u00dfes Team Indios Chapaleuf\u00fa zusammenstellen?<\/p>\n

Aber zur\u00fcck nach Chantilly, wo etwa 122 Spiele auf den 8 Pl\u00e4tzen des Clubs ausgetragen werden, gelegentlich sogar 12 Spiele an einem Tag. Der Zutritt ist f\u00fcr alle offen! Es wird jeden Tag der Woche Spiele geben, sowie festliche Tage, insbesondere am Tag der Finals am 17. September, wenn ein Dorf aus Ausstellern und Food-Trucks das allgemeine Publikum willkommen hei\u00dfen wird.<\/p>\n

Zur Klarstellung: Das Handicap ist der Wert eines Spielers, der von der Handicap-Kommission seines Landes festgelegt wird. Ein Anf\u00e4nger wird mit -2 bewertet, w\u00e4hrend die besten Profis der Welt ein Handicap von 10 haben. Aktuell gibt es weltweit 7 Spieler mit einem Handicap von 10, davon 6 Argentinier und 1 Uruguayer; 14 Spieler haben ein Handicap von 9 und 20 ein Handicap von 8. Die beiden besten franz\u00f6sischen Spieler haben derzeit ein Handicap von 6, w\u00e4hrend die Br\u00fcder St\u00e9phane und Lionel Macaire zu ihrer Zeit (in den 80er-90er Jahren) ein Handicap von 8 hatten. Die gesamten Handicaps der Spieler eines Teams ergeben die Teamwertung (zum Beispiel 16 Tore f\u00fcr die Open de France).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
