Next year the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series takes place for the fifth time in a row. Now the participating nine teams have been announced, all playing with a 16 Goal Handicap. The Habtoor Polo Team with Mohammed Al Habtoor as well as previous year’s champion Ghantoot Polo Team will take part once again.
The series is split into two tournaments and takes place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates. The series will start next year with the Silver Cup, beginning February 1st and ending February 15th, 2014. The Gold Cup will commence on February 24th and will end on March 14th, 2014. Since its premiere in 2010, the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club has become one of the most important tournaments in the region.
