Este s\u00e1bado y domingo se jugar\u00e1n las semifinales del torneo de polo m\u00e1s prestigioso de la temporada, el Abierto Argentino. Por primera vez en mucho tiempo, una r\u00e1pida encuesta en el microcosmos del polo argentino revela que nadie est\u00e1 en posici\u00f3n de hacer una predicci\u00f3n firme y definitiva.<\/p>

Cuatro equipos siguen en la contienda: los campeones defensores, La Dolfina Saudi de los Cambiaso padre e hijo; los ganadores de la edici\u00f3n 2021, La Natividad recompuesta; el reci\u00e9n llegado, La Hache La Roca de Hilario Ulloa; y el agitador institucional, La Ensenada Brubank. Esta vez, ninguno de los partidos tiene un resultado predecible, y lo mismo ocurre con la final, que se jugar\u00e1 el 2 de diciembre frente a 18.000 espectadores. La Dolfina Saudi probablemente se enfrente a La Hache, finalistas en Hurlingham y Tortugas y l\u00edderes generales en la Triple Corona. Sin embargo, el resultado de la final de Hurlingham favorece a La Dolfina.<\/p>

La otra semifinal tampoco es un hecho para La Natividad. Lolo Castagnola, padre de Jeta (m\u00e1ximo goleador del Abierto hasta ahora con 25 goles) y Barto, advierte sobre la final pr\u00f3xima: “Todav\u00eda queda una semifinal el pr\u00f3ximo s\u00e1bado contra La Ensenada, y con ellos, nada est\u00e1 dicho, as\u00ed que tengo cautela\u201d. La Ensenada, conocida por sus sorpresas en la Triple Corona, a\u00fan no ha dado el golpe este a\u00f1o. Pero en Tortugas, perdieron contra La Natividad (10-14). Esta temporada, cada equipo ha vencido a todos los dem\u00e1s en alg\u00fan momento, y se espera que el partido sea re\u00f1ido entre los tres pesos pesados, que entran al campo con 40 goles (La Dolfina), 39 goles (La Natividad) y 36 goles (La Hache).<\/p>

Igualmente interesante es la batalla por la supervivencia en el fondo de la clasificaci\u00f3n. Para La Esquina, de los hermanos Laprida, el descenso parece inevitable. La Irenita Clinova, los hermanos Fern\u00e1ndez Llorente, a\u00fan pueden salvarse si logran vencer a Ellerstina el domingo. Este a\u00f1o, sin Facundo Pieres (ahora en La Natividad), Ellerstina ha sido solo una sombra de lo que era, y es triste ver su declive. \u00a1Este era el equipo que hab\u00eda albergado – y a veces ganado – tantas finales en d\u00e9cadas anteriores, en cl\u00e1sicos inolvidables contra La Dolfina!<\/p>

La Hache Cr\u00eda (equipo B) tendr\u00e1 su destino en sus propias manos contra La Esquina, mientras que el joven y atractivo equipo de El Overo Z7 ver\u00e1 su destino decidido pasivamente, ya que est\u00e1n exentos de esta \u00faltima ronda.<\/p>
