From July 4th to 7th the tournament Cartier Summer Polo 2013 took place at the Dutch Polo Club Vreeland. Eight teams with a handicap from +5 to +8 competed against each other. More than 1,000 spectators came at both sunny weekend days to watch the exciting polo matches.
Team Nipas with Niels van der Hoeven (0), Annita van der Hoeven (0), Luis Duggan (+5) and Gonchi Bernal (+3) emerged victorious. In the final match the foursome defeated Marion Grunow (0), Martijn van Scherpenzeel (+1), Micky Duggan (+4) and Tuky Caivano (+3) of team Adrenalina by 7-4. Team Nederland.FM with Wernard and Wilfred Borstlap (0), Juan Medina (+2), Robert Watson (+5) and Jim Souren (+1) was placed third.
