New AB 116

The strengths and purpose of this boat are the ones which have become a must in the world of high speed yachting with water jet propulsion. AB Yachts, through the use of lightweight materials, advanced composites and special bonding systems is now a point of reference in this domain of yachting.

A result of yet another challenge successfully met, this new AB 116 is not only another example of rare beauty and elegance launched by Fipa Group’s shipyard AB Yachts, it is also a logistical and organizational achievement: with a tightlyknit team of highly skilled local workers who have long collaborated with the Group, an extraordinarily efficient working environment was created thereby enabling AB Yachts to launch another wonderful example of this 36-meter model in less than 180 days! With three MTU 16V2000 M94 and 3 MJP waterjets, she is able to reach a top speed of 52.8 knots and cruise effortlessly at 44 knots.

The new AB 116, just like her predecessors, promises to leave a lasting impression on those who see her. Hull and superstructure in a clear shade of silver, aggressive yet elegant and timeless lines, ample and generous space on board to enjoy exciting cruises at high speed, with maximum comfort in navigation due to the total absence of vibration and noise even in rough sea conditions.

The interior, like every jewel of the AB Yachts line, has been created with extreme attention to every detail. Light yet warm colors predominate on board, welcoming guests in an inviting embrace in which they stay wrapped for the duration of their stay.

The essence of handcrafted bleached oak floors is perfectly married with white wood furniture. The main saloon has been designed to give a feeling of pleasant entertainment to the guests on board, it is equipped with a large U-shaped sofa, a furniture with a 55” TV and a crystal dining table for ten people with the opening roof right above which irradiates the entire main deck with warm natural light.

The spacious wheelhouse in gray leather is separated from the dining area by sliding doors and a fascinating retractable bulkhead finished with a metallic wave.

Going belowdecks, this yacht also features a remarkable lower saloon which boasts a height of over 4 meters and is awash in sunlight coming through the wheelhouse windshield right above. Furnished with a comfortable L-shaped sofa and another large TV, this is the perfect place to enjoy some privacy.

Located aft from the lower saloon, there is a spacious guest accommodation area whose layout is completely customized. At the owner’s request, it features a VIP double and a twin cabin, both with en-suite bathrooms and even in this area the light hues of the bed head, leather and fabrics predominate.

Proceeding further aft, the owner’s area consists of a private office and the owner’s suite, which extends across the full width of the boat and is fitted with large portholes that illuminate the environment and give the owner the feeling of flying on water. The master suite consists of a lounge area and a king-size bed and is separated from ist private bathroom with decorative translucent panels that further enhance the impression of space. In the bathroom, carbon fixtures and mirrored furniture make it refined and original.

Going forward from the lower saloon, one enters the service area with the main galley, crew lounge, two twin cabins and the captain’s cabin with their respective bathrooms.

The owner’s care and dedication to his crew is demonstrated by the use of same quality materials in crew quarters which are finished and equipped to same standards as the guest accommodation.

The maximum attention to detail is also evident in the outside deck areas: the cockpit immediately reveals the attention devoted to maximizing the space for relaxation. In addition to the generous sunbathing area, there is also a large dining table. Lounging sofas and chairs are also found on the flybridge which is equipped with a custom-made retractable steering position and can also be used as a comfortable and very private dining area. High degree of customization, unparalleled performance and comfort even at high speeds is what AB Yachts have become renowned for as a leading manufacturer of large express cruisers with waterjet propulsion.
