Ghantoot defeated Bin Drai by 9 goals to 5 this afternoon in the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and winning their second match in a row in the Silver Cup. Team made by Ali Al Merri, Juan Zubiaurre, Facundo Sola and Pelayo Berazadi had another great performance against a tough team like Bin Drai that never gave up.
The game started complicated for Ghantoot that was overpowered by Bin Drai 3 goals to 2 in a full speed first chukker. Things got better for Ghantoot from the second chukker thanks to a great team work, always led by Facundo Sola, today well supported by his other teamates. From the third chukker, Ghantoot took the control of the game and the scoreboard and with a good goal difference could handle the match till the end.
The Dubai Polo Gold Series 2013 continues tomorrow with two matches at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club. From 2.30 in the main field, Habtoor Polo will be facing Abu Dhabi. In the second match of the day, at 4 pm, Mahra Polo will play against Zedan.
