Today the Gulfstream Pacific Coast Open kicks off at Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club! Until 30th August, five 16-goal teams will compete against each other to win the coveted trophy. World-class polo players such as Mike Azzaro (+7), Santi Torres (+7), Paco de Narvaez (+8), Jeff Hall (+7) and Lucas Criado (+8) have announced their attendance.
The Pacific Coast Open is one of the oldest polo tournaments in the world. Already in 1908 the “All American Polo Trophy“ was played for the first time at the Coronado Country Club in West El Paso, Texas. This high goal tournament still exists today and brings high-class players from all over the world to Santa Barbara Polo Club every year. The games start today at 2 pm. In the first match team Farmers and Merchants Bank will face Alegria/Valiente. On 30th August at 2 pm. the final will be held at the club.
