Successful polo premiere

The Ibiza Polo Club hosted this weekend the first edition of the Ibiza Charity Polo Cup, organized by the Asosiación Española Contra el Cancer (A.E.C.C) and Ibiza Delivers. Jaeger-LeCoultre, Champagne Louis Roederer, Atzaró, La Mer and Ibiza Style, the Club’s sponsors also participated to the event.
Around 500 people, visitors or residents of the island, enjoyed a perfect day and assisted to an exhibition match between the Ibiza Delivers Polo Team and the Roman Fortunato Polo Team. The score was 4-3 for the Roman Fortunato Polo Team, composed by Roman Fortunato (0), Adriano Agosti (0), Nic Roldan (8), and Gaston Laulhé (7). Anuschka Bahlsen (0), Jaime Espinosa de los Monteros (1), Alejandro Novillo Astrada (8), and Juan Ambroggio (7) composed the Ibiza Delivers Polo Team.
Adriano Agosti scored 2 goals, while Nic Roldan and Gaston Laulhé 1 each. Anuschka Bahlsen scored 2 goals for her team, and Alejandro Novillo Astrada the 3rd goal. Alejandro Novillo Astrada was also rewarded as the best player of the game, while Picasso, ridden by Nic Roldan in the 4th chukker, was named best playing pony.
The day ended with an after polo party with live music, DJ, and an auction in favour of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
