Hurlingham and Palermo groups confirmed

In three weeks’ time the 2013 Tortugas Open, the first tournament of the Argentine Triple Crown, start at the Tortugas Country Club. Already in mid August the six high goal teams were separated into two groups (POLO+10 reported).
Yesterday the Argentine Polo Association announced the draws corresponding to the zones of the 120th Hurlingham Open and the 120th Argentine Open. Eight teams participate in the tournament. Six teams are already fixed, two teams still have the chance to qualify for participation.
The teams meeting in Hurlingham and forming part of zone A are La Dolfina, La Aguada, Alegría as well as the team with the lowest handicap that makes it through the qualifying tournament. Zone B consists of Ellerstina, La Natividad, La Aguada Las Monjitas and the team with the highest handicap that makes it through the qualifying tournament.
Zone A in Palermo at the Argentine Open will be composed of Ellerstina, La Aguada, Alegría as well as the team with the lowest handicap that makes it through the qualifying tournament. Zone B will feature La Dolfina, La Natividad, La Aguada Las Monjitas and the team with the highest handicap that makes it through the qualifying tournament.

September 24th to October 13th
Qualifiers for the 120th Hurlingham Open and the 120th Argentine Open (= 90 Aniversario de la AAP)
Start: September 23rd

November 16th to December 7th
