In the extra chukker, the foursome defeated the host team Veytay Jaeger-LeCoultre with Yasmine Luginbühl (0), Martin Luginbühl (+2), Simon Luginbühl (+2) and Horacio Fernandez Llorente (+4) by 5-4.
About 5,000 visitors watched the thrilling final. After a initial lead for Lynx by 3-0, the match became more exciting. Towards the end of the fourth chukker, Veytay Jaeger-LeCoultre managed a tie – two minutes before ringing the final bell the match was open again. Both teams fought a fierce battle, on both sides goals were scored. An extra chukker brought the decision. The Argentine Ignacio Kennedy was the happy scorer of the golden goal and therefore led his team Lynx to victory.
Placed third were Sébastien Le Page (-1), Juan Manuel Frascino (+1), Martin Podesta jun. (+3) and Martin Podesta (+4) of team Polo Park Zürich.
