In 2010 the Italian sports car manufacturer made its remarkable debut as team sponsor at the Beach Polo tournament in Hörnum, Sylt – Maserati reached the second place in the competition–, and in 2015 the legendary car brand returns as exclusive team and car sponsor to the eastern coast of Sylt. For many years the brand with the trident logo is committed to the sport of polo around the globe and on Pentecost on Sylt it will once again prove impressively: not only several hundred horsepower can ensure adrenaline and goose bumps – sometimes one HP is totally enough: on the back of a polo pony.

For those speed lovers out there, Maserati Deutschland GmbH in association with the Maserati base in Tamsen, Hamburg, will present its newest designs at the port of Hörnum.

Maserati and La Martina, the leading polo outfitter from Argentina, are also connected by a successful cooperation. The two cult brands also want to continue working together in the future. Recently, the Fall/Winter 2015/16 collection “La Martina for Maserati” was presented at the 87th Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence. The highlight of the collection is a piece exclusively designed for Maserati, the winter polo shirt “Polo-Duvet La Martina for Maserati”. On occasion of the collection premiere, the award ceremony for the best polo players of the Maserati Centennial Polo Tour, who received the Maserati Centennial Award, was held.,

New event logo
For the eighth edition of the Julius Baer Beach Polo World Cup Sylt the logo of the event was redesigned for the first time. The logo now appears to be clearer, fresher and more modern and at the same time it is sporty and elegant – corresponding to the Nordic lifestyle and Sylt’s sense of life.

During the past years the Julius Baer Beach Polo World Cup Sylt at the eastern coast of Hörnum has become one of the most popular events and a real crowd puller, attracting more than 10,000 spectators. In 2011 the bank Julius Baer assumed the title sponsorship for the first time – and this year the bank Julius Baer Europe AG with its chairman of the executive board Heiko Schlag is once again in on it.
