The polo season at Argentario Polo Club has started with the international polo tournament for the Silver Cup. Four teams from Poland, Hungary and Italy with a handicap of 6 to 10 goals fought for the title from Thursday, 17th July until Sunday, 20th July.
The tournament ended with the victory of team La Mimosa, consisting of Stefania Annunziata (0), Edoardo Ferrari (+2), Juan Manuel Gonzales (+4) and Julio Coria (+4). At the final day of the tournament the foursome defeated Alexander Hauptmann (+1), Fernando Miño (+3), Joaquin Maiquez (+6) and Robert Szucs (0) of team Enira/Cassiopeia Polo Team getting the victory with the score of 7-6. The best scorer Juan Manuel Gonzales (13 goals) made the difference.
Three days later the action will continue at Argentario Polo Club. From 24th to 27th July, eight teams coming from all Europe will fight for the Coppa D’Oro 2014. The Argentario Polo Club traditional tournament will be held in its XXIV edition.
