Yesterday the 10th La Martina Miami Beach Polo World Cup started at the beach of South Beach in Florida. The La Martina South Beach Women’s Polo Cup VI opened the world’s largest beach polo tournament. After a long hot day with hard-fought matches Scarlet Davenport, Maggie McNamara and Laura Willson of team La Martina defeated Kaila Doud, Slaney O’Hanlon and Lynn O’Connor of team Eden Roc/Cheeki by 2-1 in Division One. Kaila Doud was named Most Valuable Player. Pony „Little Joe“ of Laura Willson was honoured as Best Playing Pony.

Lynda Mariano, Sabina Barnett and Kerstie Allen of team FontaineBleau Aviation are the winners of Division Two.
