Land Rover goes Polo

At the start of the 2012 polo season, the Brand Director of Land Rover Germany, Peter J. Gresse announced the founding of a German Land Rover Polo Team. Led by Heino Ferch and his wife Marie-Jeanette, the team will play at the German Championships in High and Low Goal and at selected tournaments, such as the 20th International Bentheim Polo Days. The remaining players of the team will be decided based on handicaps.
For years, the British automaker has been supporting sports and leisure activities. Land Rover has already been active in German polo by supporting a team at the Wallerstein Polo Cup in 2011.
