POLO+10 is happy to announce the Myopia Polo Club as a new media partner. The Myopia Polo Club in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, is located about 50 kilometres north from Boston. It was founded in 1887 and is one of the oldest polo clubs in the United States. The club is one of the founding members of the United States Polo Association. The first official match took place in 1888 at the Gibney Field. Today, this traditional field still is scene of numerous polo tournaments.
The Myopia Polo Club is not just meeting point for the best polo players worldwide but also made film history. The polo scenes of the classic movie „The Thomas Crown Affair“ from 1968 starring Steve McQueen were shot at this place.
