Sapphire wins again

At the 14th Memorial Andrés Parladé team Sapphire with Rosendo Torreguitar, Richard Fagan, James Lawrence and Isola Torreguitar triumphed for the second time at the Santa María Polo Club in Sotogrande, Spain. Less than a week ago they had already won the Copa de Jerez de Polo. Sapphire defeated Woodchester in the final by 5-4 and took the trophy of the Memorial Andrés Parladé home.
Already in the first chukker team Sapphire scored three goals and wrapped the game up prematurely. Woodchester did not surrender and tried to catch up, but could not level till the end of the game.
Six teams with a handicap of +6 competed against each other at the tournament. Next to the finalists Los Dragons, San Enrique, Blueye and Royal Oman fought for the victory.
