Under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert of Monaco, the first Monte Carlo Polo Tournament will take place from August 1 to 4, 2013, at the newly founded Monte Carlo Polo Club. Four teams with a handicap from +6 to +8, and with players from Italy, France, England and Argentina, will compete for the first Diamond Missbach Polo Cup.
Furthermore, the Diamond Missbach Polo Cup Tournament includes an intense social program. On Friday a Grand Parade of horses and riders around the Casino Square takes place and the next day the matches are followed by an Argentine barbecue prepared by the chef of Vista Palace Hotel. The tournament ends with the final competition and the awards ceremony hosted by the main sponsor and celebrity guests. On Sunday a closing gala dinner will take place at the Monte Carlo Beach Club, which will benefit the charity association Ecoute Cancer Réconfort.

The lawn was set up in record time: less than a week! It will have to be mowed twice before the end of the month to be in perfect condition. The natural settings of the Monte Carlo Polo Club field, 5 minutes from Monaco, are truly countryside! We had to set up an electrical net protection to keep away wild boars that were feasting on our fresh grass.”

Thus, from the Terrace Bellevue of the Café de Paris, VIPs will attend the horses and riders parade on the Casino Square, in honour of the inauguration of Monte Carlo Polo Club.
