In furtherance of the sport of polo, the Czech Gill Polo Club and the Frankfurter Polo Club, the second oldest polo club in Germany, have joined forces. Early in September both clubs have concluded an agreement. In the future the Czechs and the Frankfurters will visit each other two times a year and co-host tournaments.
Branislav Sincic, vice president of Frankfurter Polo Club: “We see it as one step further in strengthening and support polo both in Germany and the Czech Republic.”
Naveed Gill, president and founder of Gill Polo Club: “We are really looking forward working with the Frankfurter Polo Club so that we in Czech can more firmly establish polo here in the same way as in Germany.”
In 2008, Naveed Gill founded the Prague Polo Club , which has now been renamed Gill Polo Club.
