In the heart of Rome, on the central Piazza del Parlamento, the exclusive polo and sportswear brand Etiqueta Negra has opened a new flagship store und celebrated this opening with a huge party. More than 500 guests attended the event, among which were actors and actresses, TV stars, journalists, the most important Roman entrepreneurs as well as many young and well known names of the upper Roman class. For the celebration a street cocktail party was organised and a DJ set ensured a cheerful atmosphere until late. Furthermore, private collectors brought precious and rare historic cars such as Jaguar, Porsche, Aston Martin and Bugatti to celebrate the passion of the brand Etiqueta Negra for old racing cars and motorbikes.
The equipment of the new flagship store follows the concept of the other already existing stores in Europe (Milan, Forte dei Marmi, St-Tropez, Deauville and Rome), with clear references to the game of polo and to the world of classic racing cars. Both the men and women clothing collections complete with accessories are presented on a surface of 55 square meters. The store, with its four big shop windows on the Piazza del Parlamento and the Via dei Prefetti, is rich of vintage props among which a motorbike Gilera Saturn 500 of 1941 and original hockey bats and balls autographed by the most popular polo players.
Etiqueta Negra is sponsor of the Ellerstina team, one of the strongest polo teams in the world and many times winner of the Argentine Triple Crown. The Triple Crown consists of the three Opens Tortugas Open, Hurlingham Open and Argentine Open and is a series of the most important tournaments worldwide.
