The final result could not have been more definite: In the competition for the Silver Pinkster Polo Trophy the team Mendoza with Teun Swinkels (-1), Phillip de Groot (0), Hector Monserrat (+3) and Gonzalo Bernal (+3) defeated the generic team HV Polo/QM with Sabine van der Kloot Meijburg (0), Maarten Hulsman (0), Guillermo Macloughlin (+3) and Nick Groos (+3) with 8-2. Especially the duo Hector Monserrat and Gonzalo Bernal gave HV Polo/QM a hard fight.
Eight international teams with players from Argentina, Germany, Swiss, the Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain had travelled to the Dutch Polo Club Waalre for 2013 Pinkster Polo. The tournament near Eindhoven had been organized by Polo Republic.
More than 1,000 spectators enjoyed the polo matches on an awesome spring day. In addition to the polo, next to the sidelines there also were picnics and music for the guests, entertainment for kids and many marquees offering a wide range of polo stuff, clothes, jewellery and technology.
