Rancho Tinto is located in the compound of San Martin, one of the oldest farms in Buenos Aires Province, and can be reached by a four hours drive from the capital city of Argentina. The daily life is characterized by the sport of polo and offers all horse enthusiasts and families an exciting taste of country life including a lot of activities and the typical atmosphere of Argentina. Polo is the main attraction of the club and definitely the heart of the ranch.
In cooperation with their partners Legacy Polo Club (Switzerland) and La Porfia Polo, Rancho Tinto offers polo lessons and polo training within the highest standards. The daily polo training consists of two blocks: in the morning stick & ball and in the afternoon club chukkas. During high season, 80 qualified horses are available to offer riders the perfect basis according to their level of playing.
The guesthouse provides four modern and cosily furnished suites. Two per bungalow with connecting doors for families. All rooms have satellite TV, rain-showers and a small patio overlooking the polo field and the steppe landscape.
The two hosts patron Cédric Schweri and actress Karin Lanz regularly invite to social asados. On the past weekend even the upcoming and beyond the region well-known Band de Jeites performed during the asado. By organizing the asados, Cédric and Karin make sure that the pitch is not the only place of the ranch where a handicap of 10 goals is presented.
Rancho Tinto is open from mid-December until mid-March.
Special bookings for groups are also possible out of season.
