Santa María Polo Club begins 2016 with a new season, ideal for the training of teams and horses before the big spring and summer tournaments.
In order to be able to acquire this, Santa María Polo Club has launched a new competition: The “European Polo Tournament”, which has the support of Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage. The month long tournament for teams with a 4-6 goal handicap will provide enough time for a good adaption of the ponies and preparation for the spring season with its Medium and Low Goal tournaments.
Santa María Polo Club offers excellent conditions for the teams: first class stables services and housing for grooms. Players and teams will be able to enjoy an Argentine Style Barbecue each Sunday of the competition, also a Gala dinner party will be held.
A weekend of chukkas (practices) and three weekends of tournament in the famous mecca of polo in Europe, which are the Santa María Polo Club and Sotogrande. An excellent opportunity to practice on weekends. You fly on Friday and play polo and train to return to the office on Monday. Not a bad plan, as Alan Kent, Santa María Polo Club Ambassador, says.
