POLO+10 impressions of the Polo World Cup Azerbaijan 2017

Baku/Azerbaijan Sept. 2017 – POLO+10 film of the 5. CBC Sport Arena Polo World Cup Azerbaijan 2017: The POLO+10 team presents a compilation of reporting, pictures and a short film recap of interviews and impressions from a vibrant and thrilling polo weekend in Baku. We feature interviews with sponsors such as Rolf P. Frehner, Managing Director of Vontobel Private Banking, and Maura Wasescha who is the founder of the Maura Wasescha AG, Luxury Properties for Rent and Sale in St. Moritz.

POLO+10 has talked to commentator and polo profi Jan-Erik Franck from England as well as to the polo players who came from all over the world to play in Baku. We captured the atmosphere of this unique polo venue: At the grand official „Baku Moritz Night“ at the Elite Horse & Polo Club Hall as well as in inofficial moments such as in the hapy mood on the players’ bus.

The tournament, which was launched to be held under the motto „polo is coming home“ in 2013, is now at a point of huge international interest and awareness. Organizer Reto Gaudenzi from World Polo considers the recent issue of the CBC Sport Arena Polo World Cup Azerbaijan as „the best ever“. Polo nation Azerbaijan is about to become a „new polo force in Europe“. „We are very much looking forward to the next year’s issue of the CBC Sport Arena Polo World Cup Azerbaijan and are excited to host the European Polo Championship on grass in 2020.”
