Richard Mille launches limited editions for Polo Club Saint-Tropez

For 2015 Richard Mille launches 2 new limited edition manual winding timepieces to honour the collaboration with the Polo Club Saint-Tropez. In this third year of partnership, Richard Mille is announcing the Ladies RM 07-01 Polo Club Saint-Tropez and the RM 029 Polo Club Saint-Tropez. Both timepieces will be available at Richard Mille Boutiques in Europe and the Middle East and at the new Richard Mille pop up at Polo Club St Tropez.

The two new timepieces are the latest editions, which follow the RM 011 Polo Club Saint-Tropez and the RM 030 Polo Club Saint-Tropez. The first ladies timepiece in the Saint Tropez collection is a limited edition of the RM 07-01 White ceramic Polo Club Saint-Tropez. The limited edition of 30 pieces has a white ceramic case, white crown rubber with lapis lazuli dial and matching blue rehaut, the colours echo the colours of the French Riviera. At the heart of the RM 07-01 is the in-house designed calibre CRMA2, a highly skeletonised automatic movement that provides the perfect synergy between performance and capability giving the RM 07-01 a power reserve of around 50 hours, a significant achievement for a ladies timepiece.

The RM 029 Polo Club Saint-Tropez is a limited edition of 50 pieces and embodies a black ceramic front and back case with a central section of the light weight material NTPT® carbon. The upper and lower rehaut will be white and blue to reflect the colours of the Polo Club and will feature the club logo on the back glass. The RM 029 model is a perfect size (48mm x 39.70mm x 12.60mm) and with the classic tonneau shape and curved case will fit on any wrist. The automatic calibre RMAS7 with oversized date mechanism and variable rotor geometry make the RM 029 the perfect companion for the day at the polo.

Peter Harrison, CEO Richard Mille Europe, Middle East and Africa: “We are proud to be the official timekeeper of the Polo Club Saint-Tropez and excited to release these two new editions into the Richard Mille collection. The Polo Club and Richard Mille have the same luxury principles and the watches represent cutting edge design, technical brilliance and dedication for the best in their respective fields.”

The Polo Club Saint-Tropez has undergone major building works over the winter and will introduce the beautiful new facilities to the many jet-set and sports personalities this summer. The exceptional surroundings of greenery, forest and blue skies will be the backdrop to the sustainable infrastructure which includes 2 new Tifton polo fields, new indoor training facilities, 258 new stables and new luxury groom and team accommodation.

Between June and September 2015 the Polo Club Saint-Tropez will host five days of Sunday Polo: 12 July, 25-26 July, 16 August, 30 August and 13 September. The first high goal polo tournament at the club will be titled The Richard Mille Trophy held on the 16 August.
