From January 16th to 19th, 2014, the 12th edition of the traditional Valartis Bank Snow Polo World Cup will take place in Kitzbühel. A total of eight teams from seven countries in total, all of whom have team handicaps of between 10 and 12 goals, will come to the snowy Münichauer field at the foot of the Kitzbueheler Horn and the Wilder Kaiser and fight for victory.
Many spectators from all over the world are expected to come to see the chukkas on snow. The relaxed and laid-back atmosphere at the Valartis Bank Snow Polo World Cup in Kitzbühel, the number of celebrities that attend and the players’ party on Saturday have long enjoyed legendary status. There already promises to be a star-studded audience for 2014.
A number of new sporting and entertainment activities will take place away from the playing field. For the first time, an AUDI off-road park will be built directly next to the polo grounds and two new team sponsors will present a helicopter and construction project. And little ones will also be well catered for with face painting, crafts and pony rides. Entrance is free on all days around the area.

We expect hard fought games and have rarely had such a balanced field. From Thursday to Sunday the polo scene will play a big role as an entertainment factor in this idyllic Tirolian town. Meanwhile polo is an essential part in Kitzbühel and we are looking forward to many further years.”
