Today was a big day for Guillermo Cuitino, Ignacio Acuna, Francisco Elizalde and Mohammed Al Habtoor of Team Habtoor. In the final of the third KBL Dubai Polo Gold Cup, the last important tournament of the season, Team Habtoor won against Team Bin Drai with 6:5.
Just in the second chukka, Team Habtoor managed to gain control of the match which was fought over toughly by Team Bin Drai in the second half of the game. With two goals in chukka four and an additional goal – only 30 seconds before the end of the game – by J.J. Brane Team Bin Drai was able to regain the lead. But in vain – Guillermo Cuitino won the game for Team Habtoor in the last two seconds. The third place was won by Team Abu Dhabi. It won with a clear 7:5 win against Team Mahra.
