Winners of the Austrian Polo Open 2012 for Pink Ribbon are Robert Kofler (+1), Werner Graf (0), Santiago Cruz Marambio (+5) and Gaston Maiquez (+6) of Team Hämmerle. They overcame Team Swarovski with Sasha Hauptmann (0), Walter Scherb (+1), Alejandro Traverso (+5) and Joaquin Maiquez (+6) with a close 7:6.
In the fight for the third place Team Estée Lauder with Hans Georg Schiebel (0), Fernando Mino (+3), Tomas Maiquez (+6) and Adam Buchanan (+3) won against Team Raika. The game ended 8:6.
In the game for the fifth place the four of Team Ebinger gave all they had. Therefore Peter Godanyi (+1), Ivan Weiss (+1), Felipe Kelly (+4) and Gustavo Bayugar (+3) were able to decide the match against Team Szigeti with Richard Drasche-Wartinberg (0), Konstantin Rhomberg (+2), Gonzalo Yanzon (+4) and Horacio Fernandez Llorente (+4) for themselves.
At this event not only the polo but also the „good purpose“ was in focus – because the polo club Ebreichsdorf palace was supporting the Pink-Ribbon campaign of the Austrian Cancer Aid with a huge tombola.
