At the Queen’s Cup Pink Polo 2016, taking place at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club, three ladies teams competed against each other. The tournament was held in aid of Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation.
Team Thai Polo, including Jeanette zu Fürstenberg (-1), Isabel Beyer von Morgenstern (0), Elaine Jackson (1) and Lia Salvo (2) became winner of the tournament. Team Maple Leaf with Claudia Zeisberger (0), Sabine Schaffer (-1), Lucy Taylor (1) and Sarah Wiseman (2) was placed second. Third place went to BMW Polo Team, consisting of Sophy Fisher (-1), Siu Tin Lim (-1), Veronica Magnasco (1) and Eva Brühl (2).
Lia Salvo received the award as Most Valuable Player and Mush a Boom, ridden by Lia Salvo, was named Best Playing Pony.
