The 2014 European Polo Championship will take place from September 4th to 14th at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly in France. France, European champion in 2010 in Austria, will attempt to regain its title granted in 2012 to Spain, in September, on French soil. The European Polo Championship is being organised by the Federation of International Polo (FIP).
The Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly is one of the most important polo destinations in Europe. Founded in 1996 from Patrick Guerrand-Hermes, the club in the north of Paris gathers the Who is Who of the french and international polo sport. On the nine playing fields of Apremont the most important tournaments of the country are held.
The Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly is the heart of the french polo sport. The facilities contain 220 hectars, thereof 150 hectars pasture. During the high season about 320 players and more than 700 horses are hosted at Chantilly, about 500 matches in more than 40 tournaments are scheduled per season.
