One of the highlights of the low goal tournament series in the Santa Maria Polo Club is the Torneo de los Restaurantes. The Club organizes the competition with the support of the Argentinean restaurant La Quinta, located in front of the Rio Sotogrande polo fields. The Copa La Quinta will take place from May 30th to June 1st.
The tournament is known for having multiple social events, which are hosted by several restaurants. Numerous polo players from Sotogrande come together for this event, offering the perfect combination of entertainment and top polo games in an extraordinary environment.
In 2012, the Torneo de los Restaurantes took place for the first time. Winning team was Asador Cancha II with the professional polo players Jack Kidd and Mariano Iturrioz. In 2013, the team Mara Restaurant with Mario Gómez and Luciano Irazabal took the trophy home, defeating team Asador Cancha II which could not defend their title.
This year, new restaurants will participate in the third edition of the tournament. Once again, the Santa María Polo Club with the support of the restaurant La Quinta will arrange thrilling polo competitions as well as surprising and entertaining social events.
