Snow Polo in Kitzbühel has long been known not just for its sport, but for its celebrity score as well. This tournament in the snow will be certain to live up to that reputation as it attracts people for the eleventh time to enjoy the white winter wonderland and sunshine at the foot of the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Wild Kaiser from January 17th to 20th. Eight teams of three players each from seven countries in all will be battling it out for the World Cup.
Organisers Frank Bahrenburg and Tito Gaudenzi want to make 2013 an even bigger success than last year, when more than 12,000 spectators watched the sensational chukkas in the snow. “We have players from all over the world and around a hundred polo horses for the start of the tournament. This time Tom Tailor will be here not just as a team sponsor, but as the official supplier for the whole tournament, and we’re really happy about that.”
