Welcome to the IceGuerilla Polo Challenge Berlin 2022

“Treptow-Köpenick is the most popular tourist region in Berlin when it comes to active recreation in nature combined with the world metropolis. In no other district does the city offer so many opportunities for conscious relaxation. Water is always a unifying element here. As early as 1936, the Grünau Regatta Course was the venue for the Summer Olympic Games for canoeists and rowers and thus became world-famous. To this day, this stretch of water is not only an Eldorado for sports enthusiasts, but also a popular destination for families thanks to the beach baths. In 2022, another first for Berlin will take place in this very region. I am grateful that the IceGuerilla Polo Challenge has found its venue in the fine sand of the Grünau lido. I would like to thank the organizers, Strandbad Grünau and all the supporters for making this unique BeachPolo event possible. I wish all players and their horses a successful tournament and all visitors and guests exciting days and lots of fun in the greenest and most waterrich district of our city.”

On all three days of the tournament, the sounds of Sharif Pasko will fill the venue. With his flair for mood and detail, the experienced DJ knows how to inspire guests and get them on the dance floor.

His fine, modern selection of deep house, future house and funky beats will also accompany this year’s polo event.

20:00 IceGuerilla Players Night From 22:00 DJ Tomekk will be playing in the VIP area. The Grammy-nominated music producer, author and DJ is considered an integral part of the US and German hip hop scene. His works are represented on a total of more than 11 million records.

MARIELLA AHRENS

has appeared in numerous television productions for ARD, ZDF and RTL since 1995, such as “Ein Fall von Liebe”, “Bergdoktor” as well as in many Rosamunde Pilcher films. She also plays in theatres in Munich, Cologne and Düsseldorf, works as an acting coach and in management training and hosts numerous events.

In 2004 she founded her association Lebensherbst e.V., which cares for needy senior citizens in homes all over Germany. Donations are always welcome.
