The Arena Polo Tour 2021 will take place – unless a new lockdown is announced – with the primary aim of „making French professional players work“. Thus, it is a sand circuit (in Spanish, arena means sand) of high level which will be launched this weekend with players who have already represented France in international championships such as Pierre Henri Ngoumou (6), Julien Reynes (4), Matthieu Delfosse (4), Jules Legoubin (3), Adrien Le Gallo (3), Louis Jarriges (3) or Thierry Vétois (3) who will play for captain Jean-François Decaux, winner of the prestigious Queen‘s Cup last summer with the Cambiaso father and son.
This series, which will be launched this weekend in the facilities of the emblematic French polo club, in Chantilly, will continue its route in La Baule, then, for the first time in the huge federal arena (FFE) of Lamotte Beuvron to conclude in the no less sublime arena of the Pôle International du Cheval de Deauville. Four renowned sites for a cycle of tournaments which promises to be very high from a sporting point of view… but which will unfortunately be played without any audience, Covid obliges, like all other professional sport competitions.
If new measures do not prevent the complete holding of the circuit, a general ranking will be established at the end of the four stages and a special trophy will reward the most faithful and performing team while an individual ranking of the players will be established over the whole competition.
