A Unique Collector’s Item – Only Fifteen Copies Available Worldwide
To mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary “Chakkar” polo story, a strictly limited special edition is now being offered: the Gold Edition. This exclusive release consists of only 15 copies, available privately to selected collectors and polo enthusiasts.
A Journey Through Polo History
Originally printed in Switzerland in 1971, the first edition of “Chakkar” included 400 copies, exquisitely bound in linen, with a select number issued in premium leather bindings. One of these precious volumes even found its way into the prestigious Library of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in New York.
For years, fifteen Gold Copies were safely stored at the Düsseldorf Polo Club before being transferred to Berlin.
In 1992, the unique polo collection was acquired by the Gallery Gut-Seeburg, where it was carefully preserved.
Recreated with Masterful Craftsmanship
In 2024, these extraordinary works were lovingly reproduced by one of Berlin’s finest bookbinderies. Each copy has been lavishly crafted, adorned with gold, and enriched with rare polo documentation.
The result is not merely a book, but a true masterpiece and a highly valuable collector’s item for polo lovers worldwide.
Safeguarded and Now Available
After being securely stored for half a century, these exceptional books have now been individually numbered and made available for exclusive private purchase through the private Gallery Gut-Seeburg.
