The winter spectacle of the 17th Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel 2019 is set to return in front of the unique backdrop of the Kitzbühel mountains in the depths of winter. Six international teams with players from seven nations will compete from Friday 18th January to the grand final on Sunday 20th January 2019 for one of the most coveted snow polo trophies in the world.

The 2019 edition of the snow polo extravaganza at the Münichauer Wiese in Reith bei Kitzbühel is promising to be the most spectacular to date. Faster polo, more spectators, more sponsors and all the glamour that has come to define the event will sparkle and delight the gathering of fans and international polo people.

Bendura Bank are returning as the headline sponsor, alongside team sponsors Bernd Gruber, Engel & Völkers, Cîroc Vodka, Maserati and Corum, and Dr Andreas Insam of Bendura Bank has attended the legendary snow polo tournament for 17 years as title sponsor. Shortly after Bendura Bank’s own 20 year anniversary, he is “proud and excited to be represented for the 17th time in the world’s biggest polo tournament on snow as the main sponsor in 2019”.

Organizer Tito Gaudenzi, who will return in 2019 with his 2018 winning Bendura Bank line-up to defend the title, is more than delighted having re-signed “long term agreements with all our main sponsors, first and foremost our title sponsor, who has been with us from year one. There is no better affirmation of success than a long-lasting relationship and we are grateful to have these great partners on our side again.”

After the first social evening on Thursday, play will begin on Friday 18th January, continuing on Saturday and Sunday starting at 11am. Surrounding the world-class polo on snow, the polo audience will enjoy first class catering in the VIP tent and the legendary Player’s Party on Saturday night.
